A couple of years ago, my sister and brother-in-law came out to visit, and they brought a lot of luggage with them. I mean, they brought hairdryers and irons and silverware and bags and bags of clothes and just a big pile of crap. In one of the bags, my brother-in-law had packed his big, fancy drum machine, and my sister proudly announced that he and my father were going to have a jam session at some point during their visit.
Oh, and they did, and it was torture. It was all sappy keyboards and bad woodwind samples and faux jazz percussion and just absolutely the sort of thing you wouldn't want to be stuck in an elevator with. Kind of like this album, except that at least I wasn't expected to read a book of Mother Earth-inspired poetry with elves and dwarves introduced as narrative elements while I was listening to the music. Run away!
