PETER MURPHY
Wild Birds (Beggars Banquet)

For goth fanatics world wide, the decade without Bauhaus (1985-1995) was a bleak
time. Love and Rockets decided to add colour to their wardrobe, and played fun
music, while Peter Murphy moved towards obscurity with a puzzling solo career.
His musical whims, electric ("Final Solution"), magical ("Cuts You Up"), and
misguided ("Hit Song"), are chronicled here in one fat, 74-minute all you can
eat Peter Murphy buffet. Despite a couple of shiny moments, all Wild Birds
offers is another reason why Bauhaus reformed.
