THE RHEOSTATICS
The Story Of Harmelodia (Perimeter)

Yes Tommy, the rock opera is not dead. Leave it the Rheostatics to create a
blissful tale connected by sumptuous music, without sounding too trite or clever
for their own good. What appears as a swank children's story, complete with a
handsome book and glossy colourful paintings, plays on several age levels. Kids
will dance and read along, Mom and Dad will sing along, and older brother will
find psychedelic references to giggle about. It's the perfect family disc, and
arguably the crowning achievement in a long line of superb releases by Canada's
quintessential band. Did I mention the fab packaging?
