Boy, this is something I certainly never asked for-a whole bunch of new versions of Survivor songs sung by people from other bands I don't particularly care for. Dennis de Young from Styx covers "To Miss Somebody," while Don Barnes from 38 Special covers "Changed By Love," and some guy named Jeff Boyle covers "Eye of the Tiger." It's like listening to a Muzak version of a song you don't like-just when you think it can't get any worse, it just does. This disc comes hot on the heels of Jim Peterik & Co. trying to sue the TV program "Survivor" for ripping off his band's name-hey, ever hear of the dictionary?
