OPERATICA: "O"
Volume 1 (E-Magine Entertainment)

How could they do this? How could anyone take a perfectly wonderful,
world-class opera singer-Maureen O'Flynn-and pair her with a selection of
arrangements that barely showcases her voice? I don't mind that this is
mostly dance music-in fact, I love the idea of classic opera combined with
contemporary forms-but the music reminds me more of Michael Jackson's
"Thriller" than anything else, and I can't stand "Thriller." The few rare
glimpses we get of O'Flynn's talent are rare and spectacular; spectacularly
wasted on this. Shame, shame, shame.
