Capitol Records has high hopes for Shannon McNally, having put her on the Girl's Room tour last summer and releasing this 6 track teaser to set up her debut long player, which should hit the shelves this spring.

Whether or not you're going to want one may well be a questioned best answered by listening to this one. Me, I want the LP. There are five original tunes here and a cover of Paul Simon's "50 Ways." That's enough space for McNally to show several sides of her musical personality, and they're all appealing. I was particularly impressed by the songs "Down And Dirty" and "Just Like Chicken," but they're all fine performances and a case could be made for any two as the best two.

Snatch this one up. It's a bargain and a promise of great things to come.
