KING MISSILE III
The Psychopathology Of Everyday Life (Instinct/Knitting Factory)
Reviewed by John Sekerka
In his "Pain Series," John S. Hall vomits curse streams in response to such nasties as paper cuts, hot coffee, and hammer on thumb. Clear the family room folks, for this is adult style entertainment. Profanity fits aside, Hall delivers his usual audacious spoken word stream of consciousness bits set to minimal music. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant, sometimes pointless, Hall takes his Missile where few dare go (cannibalism, detailed clinical procreation) . And though there's never a dull moment, I do long for more musical moments like the resurrected "Jesus Was Way Cool."
