Now this is the kind of punk rock that old fogies like me like to listen to. It's loud, and angry, and abrasive, the band can barely play together, and the only intelligible words coming out of the lead singer's mouth are "fuck" and "dick" and "kill." Midnight Creeps fit this bill nicely, with lead singer Hurricane Jenny growling the lyrics in a register that sounds painfully low with an affected southern accent that makes her sound like a slushed Tex and the Horseheads. The titles of the songs are great, ("I Wanna Punch a Skank" "All For One and Fuck 'Em All" are two such examples) and I'm sure the lyrics are equally wonderful and insightful, 'cept I can't understand anything that comes out of this chick's mouth.
