This is the second post-punk era, and Sideonedummy's next Atticus collection of unreleased and rare tracks is here proving that genres can move on smoothly when the right people keep things in check. Nobody here waves that dusty "punk" flag very high today (even when Tim Armstrong's around), and the unreleased songs are often as good as or better than what is on their albums. Hats off to anything Travis Barker touches too (songs by the Transplants, Box Car Racer, and Blink-182). The man's a percussion prodigy, and Dragging The Lake II is more insistent and precise because of it.
