Moving further away from the Jon Spencer blues punk howl, guitarist for said outfit Judah Bauer starts to carve his own identity in the music biz. The opening sweet blues shuffle "Well, Well, Well," may be a tip o' the hat to R.L. Burnside, but turns out to be a bit of a curve ball. Keep It Coming is certainly a blues record, but not in the tradition of the Fat Possum label. Nor should it be. Bauer is white, young and full of rock'n'roll. And now, as evidenced by the superb "Only One," he is developing into a pretty good song writer.
