MC5
Babes In Arms (ROIR)
Reviewed by Shaun Dale
Originally a cassette-only rarity released in 1983, this collection is a
remarkably complete overview of the legendary Detroit rebel rockers, the
MC5. From the infamous "motherfucker" version of "Kick Out The Jams" and
rarities from their earliest shows and sessions to alternate cuts from their
major label releases, Babes In Arms shows off the band's range, from finesse
to fury, and demonstrates why they've continued to be a rock 'n roll legend
for decades.
Track List: Shaking Street * American Ruse * Skunk (Sonically Speaking) *
Tuttie Fruttie * Poison * Gotta Keep Moving * Tonite * Kick Out The Jams *
