TAKING BACK SUNDAY
Tell All Your Friends (Victory)

Glancing quickly at the cover, I laughed. I thought they were called 'Taking Back Sundae.' Now that's a great name, isn't it? Nevermind.

There are so many bands on Victory Records that TBS should've been listening to intently and keeping notes on, rather than the droney, sensitive-guy, diarrheiterated emo-ticons I'm finding spread across the ten songs, on Tell All Your Friends.

This was well played, and very well recorded, but it took about as many chances as the newest Halloween film probably does. The album should come with a free studded belt so you won't look out of place when you see this band live with a few hundred other sheeple. If you're lucky, they might even do some synchronized jumps mid-song pointing their guitars at the crowd, which is so unheard of nowadays (radicals).

TBS have a track here called "You're So Last Summer." Self-referential much?

4/10
