LSD - Real Garage Punk From Sweden 1966 (LP) (Subliminal Sounds)
Reviewed by Alan Wright
I was expecting raving, lunatic beat-punk on this platter, but what you get
is a different story altogether! Side one features the completely
unlistenable amateur "music" of Klunk's Klan who do versions of "Hi Heel
Sneakers," "Shakin' All Over" and others that are so terrible it's
embarrassing! Side two's marginally better - LSD actually resemble a real
band, and do barely passable versions of more blues and R&B covers. Blah!
