How would you like your Salim Nourallah today? Introspective and whimsical? Ah, then may I recommend the solo EP, The Way To Your Heart? Very good. And for you, sir? Power pop with some kick? Certainly, sir, we have just the thing. May I tempt you with Mr. Nourallah's rockin' side project, The Happiness Factor? Oh, I'd say if you like Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, Matthew Sweet, The Beatles, The Replacements, Redd Kross and the Rubinoos, then you're just gonna eat this up. It'll make you feel the same kind of unrelenting happiness you feel when you listen to those artists. You know the feeling I mean, where nothing can bring you down as long as the music keeps playing? Hey, I wonder if that's "the Happiness Factor" he's talking about. Works for me. I'm having some. Anything this good has to be a million calories, but this is so worth the risk. Another fine slab of pop from the folks at The Paisley Pop Label, who apparently know just what this stuff is all about.
