Audible Debris COSMIK RADIO!: The new techie stuff has finally arrived! The first new edition of Cosmik Radio will be available on demand by Thursday the 12th of August. In the meantime, there are several archived editions to listen to. Click on the Cosmik Radio icon to get there. You just need a RealAudio Player to listen. If you don't have one, go pick one up. Cosmik Radio is just the kind of Net-Only audio that radio station program directors don't want you getting hooked on. So go ahead. Inhale!

JULIAN LENNON - After years of self-imposed musical exile, Julian Lennon returns with Photograph Smile, easily his best album to date. Finally at peace with the inevitible comparisons to his famous father, Julian discusses his new album, his more-than-generous charity work, and the trouble with Yoko. Interview by DJ Johnson.

DEL-FI's BOB KEANE - He brought us Ritchie Valens, The Bobby Fuller Four, and... Barry White? Yes, even Frank Zappa cut some chops working for Del-Fi. In part two of his Cosmik interview, Del-Fi Records' head honcho talks about the years following the murder of Bobby Fuller, restarting the label, the La Bamba and Pulp Fiction explosions, and where it's all heading. Interview by DJ Johnson.

CONCERT - COWBOY JUNKIES - Another beautiful night on the Pier in Seattle. Eric Steiner takes in the sights and sounds as the Cowboy Junkies pass through town.

CONCERT - COMMUNITY SERVICE TOUR - An evening of electronic madness perpetrated by DJ Kelley, Orbital, Lo-Fi Allstars, and Crystal Method, witnessed by our own Rusty Pipes.

CONCERT - VOODOO ROOSTERS - With the weather still perfect for outdoor concerts, Eric Steiner drops by the annual Bite Of Seattle festival to check out Voodoo Rooster.

CD & RECORD REVIEWS - Another huge stack of releases get the Cosmik once-over.

EVERYTHING ELSE IN REVIEW - Where the rest of it lands.

KENNY LOVE'S PERSPECTIVE - Independent record label owner Kenny Love's monthly look at the biz.

BETWEEN ZERO AND ONE - by Steven Leith: Is the WEB a failed experiment?

CLOSET PHILOSOPHY - with Rusty Pipes: Chapters and verses and lightning bolt curses.

PIGSHIT - By Gary Pig Gold: The wacky life and grizzly possible death of Jimmy Ellis, a.k.a. Orion Eckley Darnell.

There aren't any major issues to cover in editor's notes this month. Imagine that. Can't think of a thing, in fact. A shame, too, because we've gone and saved all this space to put editor's notes in. Even made the nice little title image. Oh well. Hey, what are you lookin' at this for when there's an interview with Julian Lennon to read?
