Punk-O-Rama IV (Epitaph)

Ah yes, it's that time of the year again, when Epitaph Records fires off a
low cost ($4.99) sampler of their best from the previous year. We're talkin'
bang for the buck, here. 25 tunes by some of today's very best punk bands
for five measly bucks. Pennywise, Rancid, Dwarves, H20, Gas Huffer, Bad
Religion, Pulley, Agnostic Front, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and even new Epitaph
signee Tom Waites are all here. Not a bad lineup, and those are
just a few of 'em. There is one small complaint. This is an interactive
CD. Neat, huh? Everybody's doing it. Except this one immediately jumps
into the install shield without asking you if you even want it to install
anything on your system. All it's installing is a fancy graphic menu, a
few band photos and biographies, but it's nice to feel you have the option
on such things. (You do, of course. Just say "cancel," man!) Still,
getting these 25 songs by these 25 bands for these 20 quarters makes up for
that little hassle.
