He not only plays it, but lives it, Old Testament style, making his own instruments, shunning electrical transportation devices. As the resonant voice of 16 Horsepower Edwards stirs up spine-chilling vignettes about black souls and fire spirits. Powerful music finally captured in a live setting on the brilliant Hoarse .
