Melissa Swingle has a lovely drawl delivery. A slow, sexy, countryfied twang with just a touch of rasp, delivered with a confidently lazy swagger. It's a voice to die for. And the music ain't too bad neither. Banjos, tambourines and a saw augment the usual guitar, drum and bass suspects for a delicious "drag yer partner around the porch" kinda mood. Ghostly trailer park country blues, if ya need some pinpointing. Get this record already, and remember: never underestimate the power of a lady with a saw.
