Rich, Miles, Guy ... if yer name's Buddy, chances are yer making good music. Best known as one half of the highly touted spousal country team, Buddy Miller steps away from the Missus and shows Nashville what music is really all about. Sweet, homey tunes with just the right amount of twang from a guitar, just the right amount of crackle in the vocal. And even this old dog comes up with a new trick on the bouncy "When It Comes To You," employing Mattel's kitschy keyboard contraption the Optigan. Nice touch.
