Pleasant, bittersweet singer-songwriter songs with lots of references to being in lost, losing love, and thinking about love lost - oversimplifying things a bit here, of course, but that's basically what these songs are. Minimal accompaniment, just a little band put together of guitar and bass and slow drums and just some really nice vocals. Borders almost on that "alt. country" stuff at times, Uncle Tupelo-style, that is, which just serves to make this music sound even more heartbreaking than your standard pop song.
