Well, now it's confirmed - thirteen-year-olds can put together DJ music as well as anyone. I suspected this for years - I mean, what, you got a guy sitting in front of a couple of record players timed just so that they're playing together. How hard is that? I had friends who could scratch as good as the pros when I was 11, so a 13-year-old DJ from France just doesn't surprise me much. At least Old Skull played their own instruments, sort of. But anyway, this is cute in a happy, fun dance music sort of way, but damn, 7 tracks of the same remixed song mixed again, over and over, by different DJs, starts to wear on one (me) after a while, unless you really, really, really like this song, and then you'll probably be in heaven with this one. Funny how France seems to relish its musical oddities - that really old rappin' grandma was from France, too, wasn't she?
