PEACHES
The Teaches Of Peaches (XL/Kitty-Yo)

Reviewed by John Sekerka

Never mind the triple x potty mouth stream spilling between Peaches' lips, this girl offers sensible words of advice like: "i.u.d., s.i.s., stay in school cuz it's the best." You go-go girl! The notorious Peaches, a white rap persona sure to make Eminem cower in the corner, is all about sex. Unabashed aural porn is delivered with a myriad of musical styles - all good and all composed and played by this one woman dynamo. Like Princess Superstar's evil twin, or the techno-rap-electro-punk Sandra Bernhardt, Peaches dishes the dirt in a witty banter that makes tunes like "Diddle My Skittle" quite palatable. Make no mistake, Peaches is a major talent of the dangerous variety (the best kind) about to blow the roof off. Consider yerselves lucky not to witness the live version. Peaches is one bizarre, unsexy uh, motherfucker (sorry, got caught up in the moment), with a raunchy stage show. That experience is spared on disc one, which is quite a dynamite slab. But be warned, the second disc has some hilarious video footage, which though not as raunchy as the live show, is enough to sink that feeling if'n you know what I mean. Listen, but don't look.
