It is official: Neko Case is the grand dame of alt-country. She's winsome, flashy, entertaining and best of all, a bit on the crazy side. You know: redheads. Anyhoo, Neko slips in a lovely little live document between studio platters to keep the drinks coming. Covers records tend to blow, but Neko effortlessly makes all standards her very own. It's easy to overlook that there are only two Case tunes in this repertoire. Enjoy and stay tuned.
