PROSAICS
Aghast Agape (Dimmak)
Reviewed by John Sekerka
Anyone suffering through recent Cure and New Order releases, still clinging to the hope that their long lost mojo will suddenly surface, may need to move on. Prosaics may be a good band wagon to hitch on. They're young and from New York, but they have the early eighties new wave British pep pop down pat. Right down to the Robert Smith whine and Peter Hook bass sound - it's a tad frightening really. And of course, New York loves 'em. You may too.
