REVEREND GLASSEYE
Happy End and Begin (Music for Cats)
Reviewed by Holly Day
This is such an exuberant record, like some folk-rock tent revival for an
insane cult. It's easy to picture lead singer Adam Glasseye up on stage,
waving his arms wildly in the air as he draws his audience to him in
spirit, the pounding of the various horns and organs and chimes growing to
a crescendo behind him. The album's a pulse-pounding, joyous album with all
the mystery and cabaret of a snake oil salesman's caravan, and well worth
seeking out.
