SHEPARD
Shepard (Black Liberty Records)

This is pretty funny stuff, albeit unintentional: a reggae-house music album
that is nothing but songs about picking up on and doing things to chicks.
The lead singer has such an exaggeratedly-deep voice that the songs sound
more like they're being sung by a Jamaican Count Dracula than a human party
guy, while the lyrics are so over-the-top and graphic that it sounds like
they were written by a horny Jamaican Count Dracula as well. About half-way
through the record, the novelty wears off, though, and even the weird,
puppy squeak toy samples aren't enough to keep me interested enough to
listen from start to finish in one shot.
