The first thing I thought of when I put this on was how much it reminded me of the Archies' Greatest Hits CD that I used to have when I was a kid - you know, the comic book/animated TV show band that Archie, Reggie, Jughead, Bettie and Veronica were in? Boy, did my dad hate that CD. But that's what this reminds me of - the happy, poppy sound of the overall album, the contagious, pseudo-groovy beat, the references to decidedly vanilla relationships, and even the background samples from what sounds like a high school football game. It's truly silly, and if my kids were older, I'd give it to them to play for their friends, just out of earshot.
