A heartfelt tribute to the recently late Warren Zevon comes as little surprise. Warren was much loved, and he was a great writer of Americana prose. Thus longtime pals like Jackson Brown, Bruce Springsteen and Don Henley are on board, but it is the inclusion of some unusual suspects like Bob Dylan, the Pixies and Adam Sandler that make this an interesting little listen. Yup, Adam Sandler, doing "Werewolves of London" no less. Not a bad version either. I think Warren would smirk.
