IN THIS ISSUE OF COSMIK DEBRIS: We proudly bring you Wayne "The Train" Hancock, The Chicken Hawks, poet and author Bud Osborn, Carlos Santana in concert, and John Sekerka's club report from Ottawa. Plus David Walley's political ponderings, Rusty Pipes' philosophical examinations, Kenny Love's solid advice for indie label types, Gary Pig Gold's look at The Shaggs, and an enormous stack of reviews of CDs and other things.

Audible Debris COSMIK RADIO!: Welcome to a new episode of Cosmik Radio. We have an hour of genre whiplash sure to hold your interest and introduce you to plenty of music you might never have heard otherwise. You just need a RealAudio Player to listen. If you don't have one, go pick one up. Cosmik Radio is just the kind of Net-Only audio that radio station program directors don't want you getting hooked on. So go ahead. Inhale!

WAYNE "THE TRAIN" HANCOCK - Our second visit with the real deal, the man who has been described as a living, accusatory middle finger pointed in the direction of Nashville. This time around, Wayne shares his thoughts on his latest release. Read it AND hear it in Real Audio. Interview by DJ Johnson.

THE CHICKEN HAWKS - An interview with Peter Phillips, guitarist and spokesman for Sioux City, Iowa's hottest and most outrageous rawk n roll band. Interview by DJ Johnson.

BUD OSBORN - 7 years after kicking smack, poet and author Bud Osborn is the voice of the homeless and abandoned on Vancouver, Canada's east side. Article by John Sekerka.

CARLOS SANTANA LIVE - Steve Marshall brings us a play by play of a recent Santana show in St. Louis.

THE SEKERKA REPORT - John Sekerka gives you the skinny on several shows that have blown through Ottawa of late.

CD & RECORD REVIEWS - Another huge stack of releases get the Cosmik once-over.

EVERYTHING ELSE IN REVIEW - Where the rest of it lands.

KENNY LOVE'S PERSPECTIVE - Kenny shares some e-mail.

CLOSET PHILOSOPHY with Rusty Pipes - A highway, a van, and opposing viewpoints.

WALLEY@WITZEND - By David G. Walley: David turns his attention to the political arena.

PIGSHIT - By Gary Pig Gold: Heard The Shaggs yet? Gary says ya better.

In our pages you may have seen mention of the plush offices we enjoy in the Cosmik Towers. Well guess what! They've been condemned! Both of 'em. Well, to be honest, we just used one for stacking the reclyclables, so we aren't too freaked out about that one, but the other tower, well, that was our home! It's coming down, down, down, and there's nothin' we can do about it. So we've purchased new digs and the moving trucks came and took us away. With the help of a phone company that is nothing if not a monopoly, we decided to take November off to unpack while we waited 3 weeks to have our lines installed. We hope nobody thought we'd gone out of business, because we're alive and well and here with an interesting issue featuring Wayne "The Train" Hancock, The Chicken Hawks, Bud Osborn and more. Thanks for being patient and not forgetting about us in the meantime. Enjoy the issue!
