Finally Grohl's growl returns after some very tepid Foo-Foo pop platters. What the hell was that anyway? Nevermind, the rock is back, perhaps due to a stay behind QOTSA's drumkit, perhaps due to the band house cleaning (did anyone really enjoy those Sunny Day guys?), whatever the case, the rock is indeed back. And as a bizarre kicker the new drummer kinda looks like Kurt, stringy bleached blonde hair and all. It's a Nirvana switcheroo! I gave the record to pal Tom, and he was very happy. Quickly slipped it into trunk CD changer of the pimpmobile. This will get heavy rotation no matter what the vehicle.
