Book: 5 Is The Perfect Number
Written by Igort (Drawn & Quarterly)

Presenting an old time Mafioso story in a muted dualtone picture format is a stroke of genius. The man known as Igort certainly knows his subject matter through and through, crafting a sly and twisted tale of intrigue, double crosses and plenty of gun play, but it is the Toulouse-Lautrec poster art inspired panels that suck you indeeply. Igort balances his rich tale with a unique Euro flavoured paint and draw method that captures a by gone era in an inventive and unique fashion. A nice twist ending as well.
