Audible Debris COSMIK RADIO!: We have an hour of genre whiplash sure to introduce you to music you might never have heard otherwise. You just need a RealAudio Player to listen. If you don't have one, go pick one up. Cosmik Radio is just the kind of Net-Only audio that radio station program directors don't want you getting hooked on. So go ahead. Inhale!

GARY YERKINS OF THE JULEPS - Once a member of The Insiders ("Ghost On The Beach"), Gary Yerkins now gets his kicks playing the country side of the rock quarry with The Juleps. Interview by Bill Holmes.

ANDRE WILLIAMS - The Black Godfather and master of XXX-rated soul joins John Sekerka for a convo about what's new, what's old, and... pud?

R.I.P. CUB KODA - Best known for his 1974 smash hit, "Smokin' In The Boys Room," Cub Koda was much more than that. A few days after his untimely passing, he is remembered by his friend, Teisco Del Rey.

MOUNTAIN AIRE FESTIVAL - What a setting for a show! Clean mountain air, sunshine and rock 'n' roll with Phil Lesh, Les Claypool and plenty of others. Tim and Ananda Owen were there.

TUNING IN TIME - OTR stands for Old Time Radio. Old time radio stood for quality and imagination. Jack Benny, Terry & The Pirates, Hop Harrigan and The Shadow knew, and you can know too, because DJ Johnson's gonna let you in on the secrets of a fascinating hobby.

CD & RECORD REVIEWS - Everything from rock to jazz to reggae and back again.

EVERYTHING ELSE IN REVIEW - Eric Idle on tour, plus a few books to check into.

Welcome to issue #61 of Cosmik Debris Magazine. This month we're pleased to welcome Teisco Del Rey, a veteran music journalist who has written for several important publications and is best known for his work in Guitar Player Magazine. Teisco is also a musician and is, in fact, one of my heroes. The subject of his Cosmik debut is quite sad, however, as you will read in his eulogy for Cub Koda. With Cub's death, the music world loses a great man, a journalist and musician who approached both tasks with true passion. Please read Teisco's farewell to Cub, because he was much more than just the song he's most noted for ("Smokin' In The Boys Room"), and you should know about the man. And beam some good thoughts to him, where ever he may be.
