DANZIG
6:66 Satan's Child (E-Magine)

Hold on to yer hats, folks, cuz the muscle-bound demon of satanic rawk is back. Though intrusive
sound bites offer a new industrial angle to Danzig rock, album number six is still classic
macho man, heavy metal horror-riffage for the testosterone teenage set. You can almost see the
veins bulge in Glenn's neck as he strains for the guttural howls. Hiding behind the sonic wall
is a fair Jim Morrison-like tenor that seldom gets a chance to shine on its own, but that has
always been the Danzig way. Good news for the doom and gloom legions: a double live album, and two volumes of b-sides are on their way; and, after lengthy legal battles, the back catalogue is
being reissued with that personal Danzig touch.
