Angelo Moore and company return for their 7th full-length album, and like all the albums before it, this one is a funky ass kicker. Killer funk grooves, clever lyrics, and always a little surprise in the mix. The guest list on this sucker is almost amusing in its diversity: Perry Farrell, No Doubt's Gwen Stefani (who joins Moore for a faithful--until the final few minutes--reading of Sly & The Family Stone's "Everybody Is A Star"), George Clinton (Mr. Funk himself), Flea, John Frusciante, and even Donny Osmond! And that's just for starters! This was released in March, and I'm shocked that there isn't a huge buzz. If this one passes unnoticed it'll be the tragedy of the year. Do something about it.
