This prolific stable who copyright their menagerie of material under "Needmore Songs" return (Robert Pollard is the sole constant), as is now expected, for an EP with a piddly eight songs (skimpy by GBV's standards). It's still noticeably stronger than a lot of the Top Ten's entire catalogs. And these are the "throwaways". Pollard supposedly has a briefcase crammed full of demo tapes. If this is an EP of throwaways, I'd like to hear what constitutes a "bad" Guided by Voices song. I doubt one exists.
