STIR
Holy Dogs (Capitol)

Make no mistake about it, Stir is big time AOR ammo waiting to explode. Never mind the "alternative" tag, this trio plays classic modern rock geared for the all-important 18-35 disposable-income masses zooming about town in their convertible BMWs, cell phones occupying one ear, car CDs the other. Hooks? Plenty. Angst vocals? Yup. Anthems? Oh yeah. Ballads? You bet. Pretty boys? Need you ask? Listen closely: that's the sound of Stir storming the charts.
