Audible Debris COSMIK RADIO!: There hasn't been a new Cosmik Radio since the Nixon Administration!!! We know, we know. Thank you for your e-mail's. Yes, we read them. But fear not, a new schedule is on its way beginning July 20th. You just need a RealAudio Player to listen. If you don't have one, go pick one up. Cosmik Radio is just the kind of Net-Only audio that radio station program directors don't want you getting hooked on. So go ahead. Inhale!

THE SOUTHERN ROCK ALL-STARS - Hanging out with this supergroup of southern rockers [Dave Hlubek (Molly Hatchet), Jakson Spires (Blackfoot), Jay Johnson (Rossington Collins Band & Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Charles Hart (Radio Tokyo)] as they tour and tour and tour and... Interview by DJ Johnson.

OTTMAR LIEBERT - The flamenco guitar star has reached an important crossroad in his impressive career. A day after being wowed by Liebert's stage show, Shaun Dale has a conversation with the man about his future plans.

KCRW'S NIC HARCOURT - Replacing Chris Douridas on KCRW Los Angeles' extremely popular Morning Becomes Eclectic program was a daunting task, but if anyone could do it, Nic Harcourt could. Interview by Rusty Pipes.

SHYAN SELAH AT THE PODIUM - Hip-hop in modern society and in our future as seen through the eyes of recording artist and record label man Shyan Selah. Where is it going and what does it mean to our youth? Eric Steiner attended this most fascinating lecture and took very good notes.

IT'S G3 TIME AGAIN! - The tour takes off once again, this time with a lineup of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Dream Theater's John Petrucci. Rusty Pipes caught the Los Angeles show at the Wiltern Theater.

EVERCLEAR FINDS THEIR WAY BACK ON STAGE - After a two and a half year layoff from gigging, Everclear shook loose the cobwebs at the University Of Rochester in New York. Waiting nearby with pen and paper was Bill Holmes.

CD & RECORD REVIEWS - Everything from rock to jazz to hip-hop and back again.

PIGSHIT - This month Gary gives you the poop on the pop. The power pop, that is.

CLOSET PHILOSOPHY - Rusty Pipes with an update from the front lines of the war on drugs.

COSMIK BLUES - A sad buhbye to John Lee Hooker..

CREDITS - The names and e-mail addresses of the people responsible for this thing.

COSMIK RADIO - Want an hour of music that fits the personality of Cosmik Debris Magazine? That's right, Sinatra segues into Megadeth into Peter Tosh into Man Or Astro-Man into... well, you get the picture. It's a little something we like to call Genre Whiplash. Or maybe you're in the mood for a trip into The Fog Machine, our mix of music of the ethereal variety. All you need is a RealAudio player. Come on in.

INTERNET RADIO STATIONS - Great radio is alive and well on the Net! Cosmik Debris presents links to take you where the good ones are hiding, from St. Louis to Dublin. You're no longer stuck with just the "classic rock," "young country" and "24-hour talk" that has your town held hostage.

OUR OWN WEBSITES - Many of the Cosmik Debris writers have websites of their own. We have some links right here.

We got a bit of a late start this month because of the 4th of July holiday, but then we figure it works out, since we got a late start last month due to being... late. So last issue got a month online. Heck, maybe the 10th is what we should just shoot for from now on. But you know what would happen then: we'd start coming out on the 14th, then the 17th, then we'd start having the December 2001 issue come out in February 2002. Which would suck. Why am I saying all this? Because I have five minutes to kill before That's My Bush starts. Or I did before I started typing. It's on. See ya next month!
