LITTLE SUE
Crow (Cravedog)

This is really hard to tack a label on. Suzannah Weaver's voice sounds like
a street wise Suzanne Vega, beautiful and melodic yet tough and gritty and
world-weary all at the same time. The music here ranges from borderline
country (complete with some exceptional steel guitar) to Tom Waits-esque
cabaret-and Weaver's voice works to propel each song to a level well above
its genre limitations. All the songs on this album are brilliantly-crafted,
quirky, and completely original arrangements well-worth all and any
attention this album gets.
