The Cafe Del Mar series originates from the turntables of the resort of the same name on the Spanish island of Ibiza, with tracks intended to catch the romance of the languid summer days and spectacular sunsets the island is noted for. Compiled by the resort's DJ Bruno, this collection of ambient, dance and pop tracks does indeed evoke a relaxing, summer mood. So much so, in fact, that I'm led to wonder why I'm sitting inside writing about it when the sun is shining outside, the beach is open, it's bikini season and, well, folks, I'm outta here.

Get this one, slap it in your portable player and I'll see ya at the beach.
