The failure of language is precisely why I'm
unable to properly sum up how this record makes
impact with my senses. It's an understatement to
describe it as a six-car pile-up on Highway 138 on
the way to Wrightwood, California, with an Ennio
Morriconne soundtrack, and country-rock
over/undertones. I'll just declare that I think
it's an artistic transgression that albums are
released, pimped, and pushed onto us daily
through the MTV and McRadio viaducts that spend
so much time saying
nothingatall.
I want to see Shitney attempt some
thong-tonsillitis dance moves to "When
You Poopie":
"Sometimes I feel sexy even when I'm on
the can."
Or how about 'NSYNC putting their chapped lips
on:
"Look, babe, I'm sorry that I hosted
swinger retreats, and I used your videos to get
us all horny with your gigantic jugs.
Do me a favor: Find these guys and give them a
record contract, so I can stop listening to 38
