THE MEAT PURVEYORS
All Relationships Are Doomed To Fail (Bloodshot)

The hair on my forearms is standing up. Chills, I'm getting chills. It's track two into the new Meat Purveyors slab, and for all intents and purposes, the record is over. Replay replay replay. It starts ominously slow and quiet, Cherilyn diMond's true blue countrified voice slowly builds steam, then the fiddle starts, then the mandolin, and lordy if this ain't the grandest version of "S.O.S" ever recorded. Mama Mia these Purveyors must be Bjorn Again hillbillies! PS: the rest of the album just happens to be a bluegrassy treat as well.
