You know, the greatest joy in having heard this CD is now I have a song in
my head (courtesy of the band Bugs Eat Books) with the repeated chorus line
of "Ian is going to New Zealand/he's going to join the Bats" in it, and
since my son's best friend's name is Ian, I have this great song to torture
him with. And isn't that what being a parent is all about, getting to
torture someone else's kid? Other than that, I love this compilation - it's so
light-hearted and fruity and happy that it's impossible not to like, unless
you only like sad music. Notable contributors to this disc include I Am the
World Trade Center, The Medoza Line, Saturnine, and Mesopotamia.
