ACCEPTANCE
Black Lines to Battlefields EP (The Militia Group)

Heavy metal framework and emotional, "proper"
vocals put Acceptance in the position of being
groundbreaking -- briefly. While it is uplifting
at first, Black Lines becomes a smidge
formulaic by the time they reach the two live
numbers at the end of this seven-song mini-album,
both of which retain the energy of moments like
the title track, but with added spectator
enthusiasm. This is perfect for fans of the newer
Cave In, and those who don't care what their
friends think as they rock out to lines about
being broken down or peed on by evil
ex-girlfriends.
