Funk Superhero doesn't have anything quite like "Buck Fifty 2 Ya Face" (his solo debut single, and something he might never top), but tracks like "Blood", "Reinstated", "Super Hoes II", and "Por Amor" make his album very worthwhile. Even if you don't have any of the outstanding Battle Axe Records compilations a few of these tracks came from, they compliment all of the other songs surrounding them on this, his unveiling, and Son sounds more focused in his tongue twisting, mischievous rhymes with a new label and crew around than he ever did as a member of Funkdoobiest.
