CONSOLIDATED
Tikkun - Survivor Demos (Orchard)

The best part of a Consolidated gig is the aftershow Q & A session, where the riled up audience
lets loose, often venting their frustrations out on the band. As one of the opening snippet
states, this is "complaint rock". Consolidated have been lighting fires for a decade now, but
they still manage to elicit polar reactions like no other politically active ensemble. Press
the magic buttons: environment, abortion, oppression, and sparks will fly. Good to see that the
trio keep moving ahead musically, infusing their dance beats with classic soul to go along with
their jazzy hiphop and industrial tendencies.
