1/2 Cup of Olive Oil
1 Packed Cup of Fresh Basil
3 Tablespoons of Pine Nuts
1/8 Tablespoon of Salt
3 Tablespoons of Parmesan Cheese

Add Basil, Pine Nuts, Salt and Parmesan Cheese and half of the Oil to a blender. Pulse blend while pouring in the other half of the oil. Continue until a smooth puree results. Pour over warm pasta.

Oh wait, that's my Mother's old recipe for fresh pesto.

1 Photograph (preferably of guitar player flipping off the camera)
3 Chords finely crushed
1 Song either about the dichotomy of piercing or tattoos (preferably both)
1/2 Pinch of Social -Political Paranoia
1 Sweet Cover

Press together in small label and sell for $8 dollars at a sweaty downtown club.

These recipes both work, almost to a fault although not usually in combination.
