ANDY STOCHANSKY
100 (Linus)
Reviewed by John Sekerka
Andy Stochansky is Canada's latest wonder boy, a fella who used to drum for Ani DiFranco and now croons like Bono on his own compositions. Yes Bono. You can throw all those singer-songwriter accolades around like ping pong balls, but the fact remains that when Stochansky reaches back for the knockout punch, he sounds like Bono. Yes it's clouding this review, but there's nothing else on the album, nor on the gratuitous live bonus disc, to shake that image. Sorry Andy.
