Another ridiculously catchy rock platter from Scandinavia, The Art of Rolling teems with cavern style rave-ups, raunchy guitar riffs, churning Hammond organ runs, and is sprinkled with small doses of Sgt. Pepper. And best of all, unlike some of their Euro counterparts in the new revivalist wave who only have the style down, The Blue Van can actually put together singles with some shelf life. Their three minute nuggets give up the sweat, but these Danes also manage to wallow in some groovy psychedelic passages without disrupting the feel-good vibe. Terrif.
