C-MURDER
The TRUest Shit I Ever Said (Koch Records)

Corey Miller aka C-Murder sits in jail for the slaying of a kid at a nightclub, but the man's collabos have decided to release an album of his anyway in the form of a patchwork of old vocal outtakes and beats straight from a broken keyboard in someone's garage. The resulting Southern Rap 'album' takes longer to listen to than it did to package and send to your nearest record store where a pair of eleven-year olds await their first shoplifting experience. Miller could have been a little honest and shortened the title by a few words, but steals from "Against All Odds" (by 2Pac) instead and thinks I won't notice. To quote Abe Lincoln, I'll end with, "people who like this sort of thing will find this the sort of thing they like." You know who you are, both of you.
