The Dwarves Come Clean (Epitaph)

The forces of evil unit for another twenty-minute wax-n-aluminum tantrum
that features the usual assortment of eyebrow-raising and jaw-dropping
imagery. Most of the 12 songs are under a minute and a half long, but
nobody since Sugar Ray Robinson has been able to land this many punches
in half a round. Slam bang bam all the way.
This thing is loaded with wild hooks that range from rowdy vocal choruses
to a slide guitar part in "Accelerator" that sounds like it's played on
high voltage fence wire. Religious Righters won't
even have time to notice that there's yet another unrepentant song of
extreme jailbait lust (last year's "Demonica" is just now starting to
register on the shock scale for these people). Gotta be fast to catch
all this. Wait, no ya don't, cuz the lyrics are included. Like serial
killers leaving too many clues, they WANT to get caught! If you're even
a little bit squeamish I suggest you look the other way. Otherwise,
dig in.
